A full refurbishment of Unit 5, in a terrace block on the busy Chancel Close Industrial Estate. The Client had expressed an interest to trial a new concept to the look and overall feel of the ‘tired’ estate which has suffered from long term vacancies, and a lack of capital investment.
It was important that TRS Construction Solutions Ltd worked closely with the designer to develop conceptual design into a buildable situation on site. Providing attention to detail, intrusive site investigations and surveys were the order of the day to inform the construction process as there were no construction drawings available.
Refining detailing, and consultation with Building Control was key in the successful outcome of the project. The unit, previously vacant for 3 years, was let withing 2 months of completion.
