The Client was wedded to a ‘long stop’ date to ensure surety of an incoming tenancy. This condensed the proposed programme by 3 weeks. Working closely with the wider construction team, we facilitated joint meetings between the key supply chain to collaboratively plan the project sequence and programme and thus provide a collective approach to managing the project to the required dates.
During the process several ‘value engineering’ and cost saving alternatives were proposed and the project ultimately was delivered £28,000 under budget and 2 days early.
